We know how excited our community are for the launch of Portal Knights on Nintendo Switch and thankfully, they won’t have to wait too long! We also know you guys will probably have a number of questions, which is why we’ve put together this handy little Q&A guide, which hopefully, should cover a lot of them. Q: When does Portal Knights launch?
A: Portal Knights launches digitally onto Nintendo Switch on the 23rd November 2017.
Q: Can I pre-order Portal Knights?
A: If you are based in Europe then yes you can! Head over to Nintendo eShop now for more information.
Q: Will Portal Knights be available to purchase physically or digitally?
A: Both! The digital version of Portal Knights will launch on the 23rd Nov and we will be releasing a physical version of Portal Knights in February 2018. Please check with your local retailers for more information of a release date for your local territory.
Q: How much will Portal Knights cost at launch?
A: Portal Knights will cost £24.99/$29.99/€29.99 at launch both digitally and physically.
Q: Does the Nintendo Switch edition of Portal Knights have online multiplayer?
A: Yes – It does! Portal Knights can be enjoyed online with up to 3 other players.
Q: Does Portal Knights support local wireless play?
A: Yes – Portal Knights can be played locally through wireless multiplayer with up to 3 other players.
Q: Can I play Portal Knights with a friend in split-screen mode?
A: Yes – You can play Portal Knights in 2 player split-screen mode in both docked mode and table top mode so you can play with your friends on the go!
Q: How many Joy-Cons are required to play Portal Knights?
A: One pair of Jon-Con controllers is required per player.
Q: Can I use a Pro Controller to play Portal Knights?
A: Yes, you can use a Pro Controller to play Portal Knights.
Q: Can Portal Knights be enjoyed in both TV, handheld and tabletop mode?
A: Yes! Portal Knights can be enjoyed in all the above modes.
Q: Does Portal Knights support Mii characters?
A: No – Portal Knights will not support Mii characters.
Q: Will I need a microSD card to play Portal Knights?
A: No – A microSD card is not required to play.
Q: Can I switch off the UI in-game for capturing screenshots?
A: Of course! Simply head into the ‘Customize Controls’ settings once in-game and assign a button to show/hide the user interface.
