Another simple solution is to allow us to make a special portal stone that will generate a random world with its level reflecting the type of portal blocks used, just make sure to populates with the ore / gems of that level regardless of its biome type. Once we strip the new random world, one last toggle should be added to the portal to close it which will clear the portal blocks and wipe that world permanently, allowing us to make a new world to ravage.
You kept the house? I buried mine and built a fort…. well after I chucked a dozen bombs at it for fun.
Then you’ll be fighting monsters every time you go home heh. Maybe add a suggestion of adding something in game to halt enemy spawn points.
From what I’ve noticed, their spawn spots are static in worlds, found building higher up prevents them from spawning in your homes/castles. Also built my HQ around the Spawning pad as nothing will spawn in its general area.
I love the concept of portals in games, always have. I’m also a stickler when it comes to building and designing my HQ’s. Would love the ability to move the portals or even just the pads to a better location or even the creation of your own personal entrance pad into the world you built your home. Though I guess the portals become irrelevant once opened.
I like the fact you can set your home to any world in your universe, but I’d rather have my own personal world free of mob spawns and the biome of my choosing at creation. That way when I scrap one Universe I can still return my home Island as I get ready to strip mine a new Universe.
Name is Paul, and as of this post I’ve already pumped 13 hours into this game. For early access I must say it’s pretty well done and the graphics are quite beautiful for a voxel game. Me and a friend love voxel games, though it would be nice to have a in game chat system of some type, or a drop / trade option. But other wise we are having a blast with it.
Until the actual three classes in game are mode unique and have something that really set them apart, a fourth right now isn’t really needed.
Be nice to see Warriors with a Shield they can use to block or bash with.
Mages being the only spell casters, and using the same hotbar mechanic as Potions/Sharpening stones.
Rangers with a charged shot or extended damage locking.
And above all, more unique and varied talent trees.
I’ve noticed if they don’t get a lot of direct sunlight they won’t grow. I had 6 rows of crops and noticed the ones along side the wall of my castle showed no growth but the ones farther away grew quickly. Also have to be there for them to grow.
I’m with Rize on this one. The grass and flowers get a bit annoying, especially near farms. Be nice if there was an option to mow it flat or even just till areas for planting.
Personally, I’d like to see sloped/staired block types for building.
As stated above, more variety in placed blocks or a way to paint them.
The crafting stations are a bit big and bulky, perhaps a more slender appearance. Like 2 blocks length, 1 high and 1 width.
As said above, each station should only show what it can craft.
