What is Portal Knights all about?
Portal Knights is an action-packed crafting adventure which takes place in dozens of randomly generated 3D sandbox worlds, each with unique environments, creatures, and materials for crafting.
Maneuver around your foes and use powerful weapons and spells to defeat them in exciting, tactical action combat!
Play as a warrior, mage, or ranger — and customize your appearance, abilities, and gear. Level up and craft your ultimate hero!

Does Portal Knights require an internet connection to play?
No, Portal Knights does not require an internet connection to play once all the files are downloaded from the store.
Does Portal Knights have online multiplayer?
Yes – if you are playing on PC, Xbox One, PS4 or Switch then Portal Knights can be enjoyed online with up to 3 other players. If you are playing on mobile, local multiplayer (same Wi-Fi) is supported for up to 4 players. Devices require the same version of the game in order to play this mode.
Can I play Portal Knights with a friend in split-screen mode?
Yes – if you are playing on PC, Xbox One, PS4 or Switch then Portal Knights can be enjoyed in split-screen mode for up to 2 players. Split-screen is not supported on mobile.
Does Portal Knights support local wireless play on Nintendo Switch?
Yes – Portal Knights can be played locally through wireless multiplayer with up to 3 other players.
Do I need to regenerate my universe to see some of the new content in the latest update?
Yes, in order to see some of the island-specific content, you’ll need to regenerate your universe or start a new one. Be warned! If you regenerate, islands other than your Home Island or Vacant islands will be reset, so make sure to move anything valuable to these safe islands before doing this.
Is ‘Players on different islands’ be supported in Portal Knights?
Unfortunately, this feature is only available to those who own the Steam edition of Portal Knights.
