Hello, Portal Knights!
On Thursday, we released Portal Knights into the wild on Steam Early Access and well, we’ve been truly overwhelmed by the response. Yet again you guys have flooded our channels with love, support and excitement, so thank you! It means so much to the team. Our communities have grown so, so much over the last few days – it’s been truly amazing to see! To all our new community members, welcome aboard – We hope you enjoy the ride.
In today’s blog, we want to discuss bugs and suggestions. Since we launched, we’ve noticed a number of discussions across our forums and social channels related to these topics. We understand many of you are frustrated by the issues you’ve come across, but please be rest assured – our devs are working super hard to fix these issues! We want you guys to love Portal Knights and the last thing we want is for you not to be able to play.
We have published a list of known issues that our devs are aware of, with workarounds and solutions. Yesterday, we announced a Beta Hotfix for those who are experiencing particular issues with Portal Knights. This hotfix is to see if we can fix a number of key issues that we’ve seen since launch. To get this, you will need to follow the instructions in the link below. If you’re not experiencing issues, please do not install this hotfix, and to confirm there is no new content in this update.

Right now, we hope you guys can be patient with us, as our dev teams work around the clock to fix known issues. Going forward, if you believe you’ve found a bug in the game, please search our forums and FAQ discussion to see if this is a known issue.

As for suggestions, they’re already coming through thick and fast! We’ve opened a Suggestions Sub-Forum on Steam for players to make suggestions, as well as on our Official forums. Please remember to provide us with as much info as possible as this will help us hugely when reading through your ideas. To provide us with the most effective suggestions, please read one of our Pinned Suggestion topics and post your ideas there. We’ve already started reading through some of your ideas and we’re really, really impressed! Our community rocks and with you guys on board, we honestly believe Portal Knights is going to develop into something truly special.
Once again, thank you so much for the incredible support. We’re still in very, very early days but we’re so encouraged by what we’re seeing and hearing. You guys really are important to us, so whilst we cannot reply to every single one of you, do remember that for every suggestion and comment you make, you’re playing a key part in the development of Portal Knights.
